As for sizing, as long as you are printing the patterns at 100% and are using the correct seam allowance the sizing is accurate. BUT everyone has a personal preference when it comes to sizing so I always recommend making a toile before dipping into your main fabric to make sure you are choosing the size you want.

Mostly straightforward instructions and good that there are three variations of the pattern to try.

Nice pattern

First, I have to say that I love that this pattern has such a wide range of sizes. It's so difficult to get anything that fits my noggin. I made 3 of these hats (all reversible) for myself, one with each brim option to see which I liked best. I used quilting cotton so the widest brim was too floppy (next time I'll double up the interfacing), but the other two were great. I do wish there were written instructions instead of just the video instructions, but I can see how the video instructions lets the designer update the pattern options without people having to re-download the pattern.

Fabric required:

- At least 1 metre (100cm / 39.5") of non-stretch fabric. Canvas, broadcloth, and denim work best

Sizes: head circumference 53.5cm-68.5cm/21"-27"

Love this pattern. I made a tester one and my 12 y.o. daughter claimed it immediately. The kids and my husband all put in requests. The above picture is part of them. I did use some interfacing in the sides, since I used all cotton for the hats.

I'm new to making hats and love this pattern. I thought the video was fabulous, fun, and helpful along with great customer service and updates. These are some of the 8 hats I've done so far. I now have perfected small, medium and large sizes. Sometimes I've had a little trouble matching up crowns to sides and brims to crowns. I suspect that might have something to do with using fabric that is too lightweight and needed more interfacing. In any case, I now have 3 perfect patterns that go together well and looking forward to making many more of different fabrics. Meanwhile, Happy Pride Month!!
