A tie front vest, not like other tie front vests! Meet the Sophia!

This is a pretty beginner friendly sewing pattern that helps you learn how to sew using the burrito method. No serger or overlocker required, only a regular sewing machine!

This pattern is simple to follow and requires basic sewing skills.

Pattern is a printable pdf only. No physical pattern will be shipped to you. Your purchase will include two printing options (Layered PDF and Colour Coded PDF) in paper size A4, US Letter, and A0.

FEATURES

DETAILS OF THE PATTERN

Materials required:

- 1.10m (110cm)-2m (200cm)/1.25y (45”)-2y 6“ (78”) of fabric

see fabric layout guide for more information on this (page 9). Lightweight to medium-weight, woven, linen, or linen-like, non-stretch fabrics are most suitable for this vest. Fabric width should be 137cm/54” wide. If the fabric has a directional print, you might need more.

- Optional premade ties.

If you are not making your own ties feel free to use ribbon, corset lacing, nylon rope, etc, instead.

- Basic sewing skill

Sizes: average sizes UK4-20/US0-16
Skill level: confident beginner
Printable in A4, US Letter, and A0 paper sizes
